If you're a fresh corpse wanting to tag along with a more leveled zombie to get your monster skills up to par, sing up below.

I've been around Giddings for quite a while and I'm planning to stay here until it's time to start migrating toward the NW for the Spring Picnic. I see several other Feral Undeads up here so there's quite a bit of help if you want to come up here, Raprune.

Awesome, right now I'm holed up in a hospital in Spracklingbank looting health kits and healing zeds close by to get diagnosis and free running so I can get to other places to heal more zeds. I can't find Giddings on the map though so I don't know exactly where to go from here S:
Edit: I was originally heading to the fort till some breather put the disease of life on me when I came up with the plan on healing nearby zeds. Should I still head to the fort? or Giddings, where hopefully someone could tell me how to get to xD

If you're still in Spracklingbank, you're one suburb north of Pitneybank where Giddings Mall is located. Fort Creedy is also close by but it was in ruins the last time I looked. There are a lot of zombies to heal here but not many "safe" places for a breather to hide unless you've bought free run. And even then, free run might not keep you safe for very long because a lot of the zombies here have Scent Trail. Here's a city map link: map.dssrzs.org/Also, here's a map I use quite a bit when I'm looking for a place to play. It's the suburb danger map. wiki.urbandead.com/index.php/Suburb The legend at the bottom is self-explanatory. I pick a green suburb to gather FAKs when I'm leveling up the way you're doing but I move to a more dangerous (yellow, orange, red) when I start FAK'ing zombies. Just keep that Scent Trail skill in mind when you do this. It's not that zombies are ungrateful for the healing but a lot of us are opportunistic and we will follow you home to kill and eat you if we can.

Ahh, I see - giddings as in giddings mall, thank you . I'll be there within a day, Still unsure whether I want free running or just turn into a zed and forget it

Still unsure whether I want free running or just turn into a zed and forget it That's a very personal choice based on how you see yourself playing this character in the future. I don't have a lot of advice to give you on that except to say take your time and be sure. Rot is irreversible. Most of my characters are fairly sociable and like to come up for air occasionally so I only have one rotter. But it's easier to deal with the one rotter because she runs with other rotters and that's not for a "safety in numbers" mentality as much as an identity and inclusion in a group.

Death-culting (aiding zombies in survivor form) can be great fun and of a great aid. However, you must be aware that a.) it grants very little XP, b.) requires some skills under your belt to be any good and c.) requires more complex tactics than the cade-bashing routine.
Looking at your current character sheet, you should probably first work on the skills that are important for racking up XP in zombie form. Only after that point is it usually sensible to spread out into the death-cultist skills.

i don't often level as a human, but the most rewarding way i can think of to earn XP while human is to gather medkits and heal the dead, just run around town bringing zoms some nice heals skipping and singing all the while!

Yup. Though the most fun you can have as a human is playing a good game of "generator Disrepairman" or playing with spray paint. Pking can be fun, but, to my wormy mind, there is something unsporting about it (except when needled in live combat . . . all bets are off). "Parachuting" can be useful too.

What is this parachuting you speak of?
