i saw someone playing this game on youtube and had to try it out myself. its level of anal retentive detail is amazing and infuriating, which makes it just amazing as well. its free so give it a shot if your bored. can be downloaded here: dukope.com/

The premise of the game is to keep people out your hellhole totalitarian state?

I would be mean and let them in. The secret police need unsuspecting dupes from smuggling microfilm, and the big fannies of American tours are a magic suitcase. Our economy requires the hard currency that tourism brings. I also like bribes.

I've just finished playing it, shame it only goes to day 9... oh well, my family was going to die soon anyway. I do want to see more what becomes of the guy who keeps coming back after having given in that flimsy passport that was created using crayons

This sort of reminds me of a game that was out YEARS ago. The whole premise of the game was to give you mundane tasks that drive you to kill.
For example, you had to go to the bank and deposit 10 dollars. When you get to the bank there is a line. And you have to stand in that line for an hour before reaching the teller. The idea being you couldn't complete the simple task without pulling out your gun and mowing down everyone in front of you lol.

Seems like a really effective game for people who are really stressed out and have anger management problems. Do you remember the name of it by any chance?

I wish i did.... i read an article on it (the kind they put down on paper) YEARS ago. It was probably mid to late 90's. The game was on the internet but pretty bare bones. Like shooting someone took 3 shots to kill them, even if you shoot them in the head. But while we are (sorta?) on the topic this story always blew my mind eve.klaki.net/heist/Ill summarize: In a massive online video game a group of assassins infiltrated and then killed and robbed one of the largest entities in the game. Taking what amounted to about 16,000 dollars (real world dollars mind you) of in game items. All totally legal because its within gaming limits. It was a heist a year in planning that was executed to the tee so that the in game groups entire bank accounts and hangers full of ships (it was a space game) all got looted before anyone could stop them. There is another GREAT Eve game story about a guy who started up his own bank in the game. He loaned money out to start ups in game and what not. Just like a real banks with small business loans and mortgages. Then one day closed shop on his bank and walked out with about 170,000 in real world dollars.

Eve was too much of a grand game for me to fully be able to get into. Things like that sounds pretty awesome however

Yeah i love stories like that. Where you can work within the game's designed limits to achieve actual real world accomplishments (sorry, leveling your character to 99 isn't all that grand lol).
Or like that plague that affected WoW where the bloke figured out how he could turn his in game pet into a little "outbreak monkey" and thus killing off millions of people in game.

closest thing we have to compare was the original zombie strike. most of you newcomers have no idea how unbalanced and broken this game was back when i started playing, lol. the strike helped rally others to the cause and forced Kevan to take notice of the problem.
was a pretty good time too, we all went to Whetcombe Park for Stanstock, just a bunch of zombies standing and swaying and groaning along with humans standing and singing, some killing but everyone hangin out on that one tile regardless, it was pretty special. caused massive server lag for Kevan too, lol
eventually he removed the main problem (receiving headshots used to drain not only AP form you but also XP, making leveling next to impossible.) and promised to make more changes towards balance, and it was all over. to this day the only groups bullgod has been in were "On Strike" and the Feral Undead lol.
