I recall you telling me about that (the Heathers), PF. Just because a handful of characters are made in a short period and hang out together doesn't mean they are zerging. If we were to start a contest, like a Feral Undead Raise Your Rotter Challenge, to see who could get all the zombie skills first, then attack a target A NT Building at more or less the same time, the whiners at Resenz would be screaming "Ermahgherd! Dey er zhergs!" Now that I think of it, a contest like that might be fun It could make for an enjoyable trolling. Just imagine if everyone here each started a zombie alt on the same day and named them all something similar (Tarman Romero, Tarman John, Tarman Cronenbourg) and then set all the Tarmen attacking the same building. The harmanz would squeal like piggies and we'd totally be in the right.

He's in Norway or Sweden and his girlfriend is in Lebanon. They created a couple of alts to play together (Mr and Mrs Sofa) and did fine until one of the zerg hunters found them. Those poor kids were reported, insulted and beat to death several times before they could even get to ReSenz to defend themselves. They did defend themselves and prove that they had (very!) separate IPs but after that they laid both characters down. They said Urban Dead just wasn't worth putting up with that kind of abuse. We've done this before (several times) but I'm game!

And how many good players have been lost (either temporarily or for good) because of out of game drama and abuse? I swear Malton must just be one giant high school.

The video gaming community, unfortunately, seems no different. I don't really know if it's the age groups of a lot of online gamers, or the mentality, or both. The contest idea makes me think of an old movie from the 1980's: "Buckaroo Banzai, Across the Eighth Dimension". The aliens (Red Lectroids from Planet 10) all had "human disguise" names beginning with "John": John Yaya Jonh Bigbooty John Smallberries John Manyjohns & etc. Great fun. The film is dated, but I still like it.

Heh-heh-heh! So glad I don't play those kinds of games! So far, UD and WoW are my only MMO's. I tried WoW at a friend's house (on their account), and decided that I didn't like it. I 'would' like to try Elder Scrolls Online when it comes out, but have my reservations there, too... I guess I'm much more the 'single player' type of gamer. I like UD because most of the communicating is done outside the game, in forums or on the Wiki (with the exeption of the old days with Lor, which were great fun), and because (most importantly) I like most of the other players I've met in UD. Can't say that for some of the other online gaming community, unfortunately... I kinda like this one: Cardboard Warfare
